Glad to announce that more and more airlines are announcing new connections to the Punta Cana Airport since the Dominican Republic reopened to tourism on October 1. In the first week of October, the number of flights increased by 26 and during the second week another 10. As of November, airport operations will continue to grow until 143 a week.
The Punta Cana International Airport is scheduled to receive 9 daily flights (63 a week) and there are 80 more weekly scheduled. From mid-November this amount could increase by more than 20%, as some airlines have announced that they will increase their daily frequency.
All these flights will be operated by 24 airlines and will connect from more than 20 cities around the world, located mainly in the United States and Canada. The companies that will connect with the Punta Cana airport are:
Delta Air Lines
This increase in connections responds to the Responsible Recovery Plan for Tourism in the Dominican Republic, with which the national government seeks to recover tourism, the economic engine of the Caribbean country.
